Setting multiple headers and footers in a document
This is really not at all difficult, but this article assumes that you already know how to access the header or footer of a document in your version of Word and how to add content to it. If not, you should first read my article on using headers and footers. You may know that margins are a section property.

In order to change the page margins or the paper size or orientation, the number of columns, or, in most cases, the content of the header or footer , you must insert a section break. For this reason, you may believe—and many people will be quick to tell you—that if you want to have different margins on the first page of a document or section, you must insert a section break.
Creating a Microsoft Word Header/Footer for the first page only
Not so! You should also know that any document or section can have up to three separate headers and footers. Figure 1.

Click OK. Click the View menu and select Header and footer.
The top and bottom of your document are revealed for editing, along with some information and a Close button in blue boxes. In this example, I only want headers on the pages after the first page.

So I type my header into the top of the second page and click Close. Instead of giving me no header on subsequent pages, it made the header on the first page blank and inserted the header on all of the other pages. You are commenting using your WordPress.
